Obverse: The € 1 coin depicts flying birds and the € 2 coin depicts two flowers. The coins of the smaller denomination depict the coat of arms of the Finnish state, the Lion in the right paw, holding a sword raised above itself. Under the lion's feet is a curved oriental sword symbolizing defeated paganism.
