Reverse: the reverse of the coin depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the text "100 POUNDS • ELIZABETH II • D • G • REG • F • D". The letters DG REG FD stand for the Latin text "Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor", which means "Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith". Below the image of the queen are the initials "JC" by artist Jody Clark.
