Obverse: depicts whirlpools that knit warm fabric that symbolizes a cozy evening that is associated with story-telling time. Moon and star motives emphasize the coin's atmosphere. The country of origin "LIETUVA" (eng. Lithuania) made out of thread at the top of the coin highlights the theme of the design. In the composition, above you can see the motive taken from the tale of "Eglė the Queen of Serpents". The image above symbolizes the coat of arms of Grand Lithuanian Duchy. At the right side of the composition, there is the year of production "2021" and the denomination "1,50Є".
Reverse: depicts the showdown of the tale's two main heroes Eglė and the Serpent. Ocean waves that merge with Eglė's hair strengthen the theme of the tale depicted in the coin. The Serpent tangles in the middle of the coin and there is the inscription on his body that "Eglė - žalčių karalienė" (eng. Eglė the Queen of Serpents". On the right side of the composition, trees symbolize Eglė's children that turned into trees according to the plot of the tale.
