Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the painting "Mary with the Baby" created in 1526 by the famous painter and Albrecht Durer. The name of the country "SAN MARINO" is engraved on the left side of the coin, and the artist's monogram and surname "DURER" are engraved on the right side. The jubilee year "1471-2021" is engraved on the bottom of the coin to mark the 550th anniversary of the artist's birth. The outer ring of the coin depicts the twelve stars of the European Union.
Reverse: regular 2 euro denomination.
