About the coin: Groszy were minted at the Vilnius Mint in 1562-1564. In the iconography of the Lithuanian coins of Žygimantas Augustus, the reduced significance of the Polish Eagle is noticeable (remained on denarii and half-grosz coins), its place occupied by the monogram of Žygimantas Augustus.
