Obverse: the 1 and 2 euro coins depict the emblem of the Order of Malta, an octagonal cross; the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins depict a shield heraldically depicting the Maltese flag and a brick crown symbolising Malta's fortifications and state status; and the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins depict the altar of the prehistoric temple of Mnajdra, which was built in 3 600 BC.
Reverse: the usual Maltese euro coinage reverses.
About the set: the set consists of 8 regular Maltese euro coins and an additional €2 commemorative coin of the Temple of Tarshinus of Malta 2021. All coins are presented in very nice original bank packaging.
