Reverse: Reverse right shows the sailing ship Kalmar Nyckel on the high seas. Left, below, part of a map of Delaware showing the town of Fort Christina. Above the map, the monogram of Queen Christina: three crowns together with the initials "CRS" (Christina Regina Sueciae), taken from her copper coins of the reign.There is a legend around the coin with the subject and the denomination "NYA SVERIGE DELAWARE 1638 1988 E 100 KR D".
About the coin: The coin was issued to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the founding of New Sweden's colonies in Delaware.
