Obverse: The obverse of the coin features Paul Kruger, the first president of the Republic of South Africa. On both sides of the coin, the country's name is inscribed in Afrikaans and English – SUID - AFRIKA and SOUTH - AFRICA.
Reverse: The reverse depicts the springbok antelope, a species found exclusively in southern and southwestern Africa. Above the antelope is the inscription KRUGERRAND, and on both sides are the year of issue – 2025. At the bottom of the coin, in Afrikaans and English, the technical specifications are inscribed: weight, silver content, and denomination – FYNSILWER 1 OZ FINE SILVER R1.
