Reverse: reverse of the coin depict coat of arms of Republic of Congo at the top of the coin is inscribed country name "REPUBLIQUE DU CONGO", the bottom of the coin denomination "5000 FRANCS CFA".
About the coin: this is the fifth Congolese Republic's Silver Gorilla series coin. Silver-eyed gorilla is the leader of the mountain gorilla group. This gorilla is named Sidranranarė, because of its exclusive dome color. She is responsible for the security of her group. The Gorilla group, also called the "army", usually has 5 to 30 gorillas. To date, there are about 700 Silver-eyed gorillas, so they are included in the Red Book.
