Reverse: the reverse features the coat of arms of the People's Republic of Bulgaria with a lion in the center, wheat wreaths, and a five-pointed star. The denomination “5 Leva” and the year “1979” are shown below.
About the coin: this silver coin was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bulgarian communications services.
