Reverse: the reverse features Paisii Hilendarski holding his famous work Slav-Bulgarian History. The years “1722–1772” are shown below the portrait.
About the coin: this silver coin commemorates the 200th anniversary of the death of Paisii Hilendarski, one of the most important figures of the Bulgarian National Revival. His book Slav-Bulgarian History is regarded as a cornerstone of Bulgarian national awakening and cultural identity.
