The letters on the left indicate the metal sign and purity, on the right – the amount of pure metal and the mint’s trademark.
Reverse: depicted are two competing skiers, above them a soaring eagle, and at the bottom left – the year “2002”. The inscription around the edge reads: “XIX ЗИМНИЕ ОЛИМПИЙСКИЕ ИГРЫ СОЛТ-ЛЕЙК-СИТИ” (lit. XIX Winter Olympic Games SALT LAKE CITY).
