Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the interim leader of the Italian state, Enrico De Nicola, who, in 1947, December 27 Signing the Act on the Constitution of the Republic of Italy, Alcido De Gasperi, right-hand Governor of the Government, and Umberto Terracini, President of the Italian Constituent Assembly. The top of the coin is a combination of "U" and "P" rails, which are initials of the coin engraver. The word "COSTITUZIONE" and the letter "IR" in the upper part of the coin refer to the Italian Republic. The words "CON SICURA COSCIENZA" (full conscience) are minted at the bottom of the coin, as well as the sign "R" which means the mint of the Roma coin mint and the anniversary year of the Constitution "1948 - 2018".
