Reverse: the reverse depicts three ships from the Battle of Lepanto. The Battle of Lepanto became a symbol of the defense of Christian Europe, inspiring many generations of Christians. Around the coin is the inscription 430 YEARS IN DEFENCE OF CHRISTIAN EUROPE, and at the bottom is the denomination Lm 5 - ecu10.
