Obverse: the obverse of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the words "ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 10 POUNDS" around it.
Reverse: the reverse of the coin depicts the Yale of Queen Beaufort with the personal badge and shield of King Henry VII. The crowned lattice depicted on the panel is part of Henry VII's personal badge. The inscription "YALE OF BEAUFORT 10 OZ" is engraved around the reverse. On the other side is engraved silver purity, fineness and the year "FINE SILVER .999.9 2020". Below are the initials of designer Jody Clark.
About the coin: this is a 10 oz. a silver coin dedicated to the beasts of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain. This is the seventh coin in a series of 10 coins dedicated to the Queen’s heraldic beasts. Heraldic creatures symbolized the various links of the royal family's ancestors. The coin was designed by Jody Clark for the Royal Mint in 2015.
