Sponge for philatelic SF Mounts! This sponge is designed specifically to wet the philatelic SF Mounts (strips or pockets). The sponge is distinguished by excellent moisture absorption and water retention properties. This fillet strainer sponge absorbs water very quickly and stays moist for a long time, which makes it very easy and quick to moisten the pocket fixing elements of philatelic strips or post stamps just by attaching them to this sponge. A non-irrigated sponge can dry out and become tough in the long run, but as soon as it is wet, it will immediately become soft and again suitable for work.
