About the coin: Medininkai is called the castle of giants, symbol of Lithuanian statehood, architectural pearl and monument. The castle is a historic road that leads through the gates of the capital Vilnius Dawn. Medininkai Castle was built in the 14th century in the southeastern part of Lithuania. It is a historic brick castle of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, with the image of the Bank of Lithuania issuing a silver coin from the series "Historical and Architectural Monuments of Lithuania". Edge lettering "HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE".
