Obverse: the 50-kroon collector coin has a minimalistic design. The obverse of the coin depicts two circles. At the top of the coin, in circles depicts Estonia`s national coat of arms. In another circle - limestone. At the top of the coin minted the name: "EESTI VABARIIK". At the bottom of the coin - the year of issue "2010".
Reverse: minimalistic design, two circles, depicting Heaven and the Earth with limestone. At the bottom of the coin minted the name "50 KROONI".
About the coin: the Bank of Estonia has issued this coin in tribute to, and to say farewell to the national currency, the Kroon, in use from 1992. The coin is pervaded by limestone. Limestone has been used in Estonia in buildings from ancient times to today. Limestone and its beautiful outcrops are a famous natural symbol of Estonian, and since 1992 also known as Estonian`s natural stone.
