The word "HELVETIA" is minted at the top of the coin, which in Latin is also the name of the country of Switzerland, and at the bottom is the coin's engraver's name "F. LANDRY".
Reverse: the Swiss emblem is displayed along with the twisted oak branches, the denomination of the coin depicted on both sides of the coat 20 FR, at the bottom of the coin is minted year and the mint mark.
