Reverse: the coat of arms of the German Empire - the Eagle with a crown, around the inscription "DEUTSCHES REICH" (eng. German Empire) and the year of the coin. At the bottom of the coin - coin's nominal "10 MARK".
About the coin: these 10 Mark Ludwig II gold coins are very rare, but they were also the official settlement tool in the German Empire. Ludwig II was the King of Bavaria, who ruled in 1864-1886. From 1875 he did not appear in public and began to build castles (Hernchimze, Neuschwanstein, Linderhof) where he lived alternately. Because of his infinite debts and progressive mental illness, Ludwig was declared incapable.
