Obverse: The center of the coins features stylized relief elements of Orthodox churches, such as the image of the restoration of the Transfiguration Church in Polotsk. Around the center is the inscription "Православные Святые" (Orthodox Saints), with the Belarusian coat of arms above. The denomination "50 Рублёў" (50 rubles) is inscribed on the left, and the year and alloy standard on the right.
Reverse: Depicts the respective saint – for instance, one of the coins is dedicated to Saint Panteleimon, the great martyr and healer, or Saint Seraphim of Sarov. The images of the saints are combined with traditional iconographic ornaments.
About the coin: The 50 Rubles Orthodox Saints is a gold coin set issued in Belarus in 2008. Each coin is made of gold (900 alloy standard) and is decorated with four synthetic crystals that are embedded into the design.
