Obverse: The coin depicts one of the actors in Europe’s building - Simone Veil, who was the first woman to be elected president of the European Union. Simone Veil has survived the Auschwitz camp, her number "78651" is minted on her coat. At the top of the coin there is her name and the year of life "SIMONE VEIL 1927 - 2017". In the center of the coin, the center of the EU Parliamentary Hall is the French republic signifying "RF", as well the year of the coin "2018".
Reverse: Regular 2€ coin obverse image of the face value.
