About the set: this Brilliant uncirculated set consists of 8 euro coins and one commemorative medal to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first minting of Czechoslovak coins. The first 20 and 50 haler coins were minted in machines called Vulcano. The 1 and 2 euro coins bear the national coat of arms. It is a double-cross of Byzantine origin, which also honors three saints - Cyril, Methodius, Benedict. The 10 to 50 cent coin depicts Bratislava Castle, a national cultural monument. The motif of the castle is the national emblem, one of the official state symbols of the Slovak Republic. The 1 to 5 cent coins depict the peak of Krivan in the Tatras, the emblem of the state, the denomination, and the globe.
