Averse: The obverse of the coin depicts "Skorba" Temples. The words "SKORBA TEMPLES" appear on the upper right of the coin, with the year "3600-2500 BC" minted below it. Below the name of the country "MALTA" and the year of mintage "2020". The coin's outer ring features the 12 stars of the European Union.
Reverse: Regular 2€ denomination number.
Edge: The edge of the coin bears the Maltese Cross. The notation consists of "2 ✠ ✠" text that repeats six times, with every other element inverted.
About the coin: This 2 euro commemorative coin is dedicated to the temples of Skorba. This is the fourth coin in the series to designate Malta's UNESCO World Heritage sites. Designed by Noel Galea Bason.
