Obverse: the obverse depicts a woman's face along with her hair. The hair depicts Andorran women who contributed to women’s voting rights in the 1970 names. The design of this coin pays tribute to the rights of Andorran women in support of solidarity. The inscriptions "50 ANYS DEL SUFRAGI UNIVERSAL FEMENÍ" ("50 years of the universal suffrage for women") and ANDORRA 1970-2020 are engraved in semicircles.

About the coin: this coin is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of women's voting rights in Andorra. 1970 On April 23, 50 years ago, the constitution was amended to give women the right to speak in governing the country. The decree was agreed and signed by both the Dukes of Andorra, the President of France, and the Roman Catholic Bishop of Urgel. Andorran women voted for the first time in the 1971 elections.
