About the set: the collection includes all euro coins (1 to 50 cents, 1 and 2 euro coins) and a commemorative 2 euro coin dedicated to the Black Stork Conservation Plan. The black stork is a large bird in the family of storks (Ciconiidae). It is a widespread but rare species that breed in warmer parts of Europe (mainly in central and eastern regions), temperate Asia, and South Africa. Recent research data show that the population of black storks in Latvia is currently dangerously small.
