Obverse: This 2012 2 euro commemorative coin commemorates Helene Schjerfbeck on the 150th anniversary of his birth. The design is based on a stylized self-portrait of the artist with writings "Helene Schjerfbeck" on the left and "1862-1946" on the right. The lower part of the coin shows the year of minting of the coin and the letters "Fl" which designate the country. The outer ring of the coin depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
Reverse: Regular 2€ denomination.
