Reverse: On the left side of the reverse is an image of a mother and daughter next to a spinning wheel – a scene from the press ban period. In the center – the Coat of Arms of Lithuania, Vytis; on the right – the denomination PENKI LITAI.
About the banknote: This is a banknote from the first series of litas issued after Lithuania regained independence, dedicated to the Lithuanian language and its promoter Jonas Jablonskis. It was printed on white paper with a watermark – Vytis, measuring 135 × 65 mm. Issued by the Bank of Lithuania, printed by De La Rue Ltd. (United Kingdom). The banknote was in circulation until March 1, 2007.
