Reverse: the coat of arms of the German Empire - the Imperial Eagle with a crown, around the name of the state and coin minting year "DEUTSCHES REICH 1888" (eng. German Empire 1888). At the bottom of the coin denomination "10 MARK".
About the coin: Friedrich III was the only son of the German Emperor Wilhelm I, and in 1888, after his father died Friedrich III on March 9, 1888, became the Emperor of Germany and the King of Prussia, which remained only 99 days until 15 June 1888, when he died of an oncological illness. The year 1888, due to the death of two emperors during the year, is considered to be the "Year of the three emperors". The brief, just over 99 days, Emperor Friedrich's III management makes this coin a particularly rare and unique coin that marks the short management time of Emperor Friedrich III.
