Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts a portrait of Albert. Around the image is "Albert Koenig V. Sachsen", an inscription denoting the King's full name "ALBERT KOENIG VON SACHSEN". At the bottom of the coin are minted letter which is coin mint mark.
Reverse: the coat of arms of the German Empire - the Imperial Eagle with a crown, around the inscription "DEUTSCHES REICH" (Engl. German Empire) and the year of the coin. At the bottom of the coin is minted denomination "10 MARK".
About the coin: the coin was issued in honour of King Albert, who ruled Saxony. Not only was he a successful governor of Saxony, but he also commanded the Saxon army.
