Obverse: the 2023 coin depicts two panda cubs playing in the snow. The weight of the coin and the gold fineness of "3 g Au .999" are engraved on the top of the coin, with the denomination "50 元" on the right-hand side of the coin.
Reverse: the Temple of Paradise is depicted in Beijing, with the inscription "中华人民共和国" (People's Republic of China) engraved on the outer ring above the coin and the year "2023" at the bottom.
