Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II. The coin features the Queen's name 'ELIZABETH II' on the left, 'D.G. REGINA' on the right and the denomination '200 DOLLARS' at the bottom.
Reverse: depicts a miner pouring water into a stream well. It also shows a micro-engraved maple leaf laser mark (the number '22', indicating the year of issue, can be seen under magnification). The name of the country of origin 'CANADA' and the year '2022' are engraved on the top of the reverse. At the bottom is the precious metal name 'FINE GOLD' and the gold fineness and weight '99999 1 OZ OR PUR'.
About the coin: this is the second edition of the Klondike Gold Rush series and will be a great addition to any gold collection. While most gold coins are made in .9999 gold, the Royal Canadian Mint has issued several commemorative coins in .99999 gold. These are the purest gold coins ever minted. They include gold maple leaf coins, gold Call of the Wild series coins and now Klondike Gold Rush coins.
