Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts King od Denmark Frederick VIII, around are minted inscription "FREDERIK VIII DANMARKS KONGE" (eng. Frederic VIII King of Denmark).
Reverse: a coat of arms of the Kingdom of Denmark which is extremely rich in detail. This coat of arms is encircled by the royal ermine, and the entire composition is decorated with a crown. In the bottom of the coin is minted the year of the coin, denomination "10 KRONER", the small heart, which is the mark of the Denmark royal mint and the signboard "VBP" which are the initials of the coin engraver.
