Region of origin: Germany
Manufacturer: LUNESCHLOSS Solingen
Metal: high-quality stainless steel
The Luftwaffe (German Air Force) officers had several official parade dagger models: the first (1934-1937) and second (1937-1945) model Luftwaffe parade dagger. Luneschloss Solingen is not one of the main manufacturers of Luftwaffe daggers, so this is an extremely rare pilot dagger from this manufacturer.
This second model Luftwaffe dagger in excellent collector's condition is a shorter and lighter design, with a silver-plated, aluminum or nickel-plated finish, as well as a visible eagle with a swastika decoration on the cross of the handle. The blade is made of high-quality stainless steel, without engravings.
